About Euclide EBA

A public-interest reference for anyone who wants to know, in their own language, which financial institutions are authorised to operate in a given European country.

Our mission

Authorisation registers exist in every European country, but they are scattered, technical and rarely translated. Euclide brings them together and explains them in seven languages, so that a citizen — in the EU or outside it — can check an institution before trusting it with their money.

Where the data comes from

Records are compiled from public supervisory sources: the EBA registers, the ECB list of supervised entities and the national registers linked on every page. Each institution page links back to the register of its own supervisor.

What this site is not

Euclide is an independent information service, not a supervisory authority. It gives no investment, legal or tax advice, and the entries here have no legal force. Before acting, always confirm the institution in the official register linked on its page.

Seven languages, by design

Financial exclusion often starts with language. The whole site — including institution descriptions — is available in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Arabic, with full right-to-left support.
